*there's his 2014 annual check up

Will's cardiology appointment this year was especially uneventful. There was an Xray but no echo. I worried he would be scared of the x ray room because I know he doesn't remember having one. But I think it appealed to the adventurous side of him because he thought the whole thing was cool. :) He was clearly scared but very brave through the EKG. By the time it was over and time to take off the stickers he got very upset. I don't blame him! There are so many of those stickers and it does look like it would hurt to take them off. EKGs can be overwhelming and it was such a good example of Will's bravery. I could see the fear in his face but he was very still and cooperated so it would be over as fast as possible.

He got a good report - without an echo there was less detail to discuss. Happy for good news!

*there is a soccer player and a gymnast

Will played soccer this spring on a 4 and 5 year old team. This was our first chance to see him physically matched up with peers and after 8 long weeks of games we really felt like he had accomplished something great! A 4 year old's ability to understand the game and execute what is being asked of them is limited, but he enjoyed the atmosphere, activity, and new friends.
Here are some pictures from the End of Season Celebration:

YES!
Will has one more year of preschool before he will be old enough for Kindergarten. Over the course of this "school" year (August - May) Will has been in a weekly tumbling class. He has loved it so we plan for him to participate again starting this August. It is a no-brainer since the teacher comes to him and he gets to have tumbling class with his friends. Here are pictures from his medal ceremony at the end of the year.

*there's Congenital Heart Defect Awareness week 2014

I can't imagine that anyone would want to see this super detailed video unless you REALLY want to understand the details of heart defects. I'm saving it here in case Will or someone else in our family wants to see it in the future. Maybe he will write a paper on TOF someday for school. :)
