Just when I think there won't be anything to talk about....
we visited Will today and found him getting kissed by a woobie!

When Will is covered up, it is usually with a small square of fabric also know as a security blanket. As you look closely at this picture, you should be able to see one of the two corners that are knotted to make little hands. Another corner has a round head with a little pointed hat attached. Will looked so cozy under this blanket today as he was being "kissed" on the ear by the face of this little blanket person.
Chris & I have names for most of the blankets at our house but none are called Woobie. You'll have to tell us what you call/called your security blankets in the comments.

Jody, you know I am super creative...I had two blankets one was a white blanket--Whitie, and the other was a tan-pink color and called Blankie. I love this picture of Will being kissed by a Woobie!! He is just a doll!
Sara, is 4 1/2 and has a 'baa' (like Baa, baa black sheep). It is not really a blanket, but is a 33 year old piece of holy fabric from MY blankie as a child. She had 'loved' it until all that is left is a little piece of fabric. :)
Kate has a little blanket bunny we call Foo Foo (as in Little Bunny Foo Foo). We got her a second one, a decoy,in case the first was lost. We called him Faux Foo. Meg has a doggie blanket she named Foh Foh. His decoy is named Bro Foh (Foh Foh's brother). We lost Faux Foo so we got another one. His name is New Foo. Aren't you glad you asked?
Jody, Will is looking so healthy! And, how precious that his "Woobie" loves him so much. What a precious blessing :)
It's so funny to hear all the different names! I have a story, too....My nephew Jack has a seriously special blanket. In fact, it was so special that there were two of them, a "big" and a "litle". Well, "little" didn't quite make the cut (too dinky), so Jack carried around this adult-sized "big" until it was just so nasty from dragging all over the floor. SO, my sister had it cut off (not as little as "little", but still smaller). He still only calls it "big" and it goes wherever he goes. He especially can't sleep or ride in the car without it! He's almost two and just starting to talk a lot, so we'll hear him calling out, "BIG?" "BIG?" It really is too cute!
My Blankie is special because it was a gift from Nanny (almost 30 years ago); a wonderful hand-stiched quilt. At one point it was so ragged on one edge that I cut that edge off and sewed it to keep it from getting worse. The quilt batting shows through in several places. It is so bad that about 12 years ago my husband decided it needed to be replaced. He purchased what he erroneously thought would be a good replacement. I was quite confused to open that Christmas present! Nothing can replace the soft, warm, pliable, comfort of Blankie (especially when one is sick)!!! I sleep with it every night and love to snuggle with it when watching TV. My worst fear regarding Blankie is that our Boxer, Zoe, will get her teeth into it!
